MILESTONE: KapowEngineEditor.exe builds

The standalone Kapow Engine Editor binary now builds end-to-end. 2.13 MB PE32 i386 GUI executable, separate from the dinput8.dll injection used to boot the retail game. This is the foundation of the Editor - our actual end-goal tool.

MILESTONE: dinput8.dll builds end-to-end

The KapowSystems engine reconstruction now compiles and links into the 2.13 MB dinput8.dll injection binary. From 3,543 errors at first compile down to a successful build in one session.

WEEK #0022026-06-22

Sprint 1: Scene System Unblock

Sprint 1 planned: 14 new tasks. Reversing the 10 leaf helpers that block Scene::Update, completing the BestFitAllocator (free-list rebalancer), and porting the GfxInternal_Dx9 stubs.

WEEK #0012026-06-22

Memory System Complete

The custom BestFitAllocator (20-bucket best-fit free list) and the 10-arena MemoryManager are fully reconstructed and verified against Ghidra. Full engine documentation published covering the memory, rendering, and scene systems.
